The meeting of High County Handiworkers was called to order at 7:16 p.m. on July 8, 2019 by President Brooke Carlson.
The pledges were led by Morgan Copeland, Joshua Ryan, Clara Coats, Anna VanderWahl, and Wyatt Grundy.
Roll call was taken by Secretary Grace Gray, and the question asked was, “How many of your projects are done?”
Ava Lewis moved to approve the minutes as posted on the club’s website. Seconded and APPROVED.
The treasurer’s report was given by Lizzy Fetzer: checking = $1,722.93, savings = $2,158.93.
The reporter’s report was given by Walker Cameron. June’s meeting report was submitted to the Coloradoan and Reporter-Herald, as well as social media and the club’s website.
The sunshine report was led by Eden Copeland. We have four July birthdays and there will be five August birthdays.
Lacey Adams gave the Cloverbud report. The group made scrapbook pages with their favorite picture for their entries for fair.
Leader’s Report:
Entry forms are due July 15, and can be turned in today to Cindy.
We have a new State Shooting Sport Shirt design. Cindy is looking for feedback from club members.
Old Business:
Demonstration Night – 11 club members participated on demonstration night and all did very well. Pizza was furnished by the club.
Parade Float – Assembling the float for the parade and getting record books signed will be on July 26 at 6:00 p.m.
New Business:
Truck Raffle Ticket Sales – A SignUpGenius is on the club website to sell truck raffle tickets at the fair. This is our club’s main fundraiser and we need all member families including parents to help.
Club Picnic – Our club picnic will be September 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Fairgrounds Park. Livestock record books can be signed as well.
