The High Country Handiworkers 4-H Club met on Monday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the McKee Building at the Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.
Enrollment is due for returning members by February 3, and for new members it is due by March 16.
Officers for the upcoming year were elected: President, Josh Ryan; Vice President, Nate Rogers; Secretary, Andrea Newby; Treasurer, Clara Coats; Reporter, CharLee Davis; Sunshine, Kathryn Cox and Wyatt Grundy; Historian, Morgan Copeland.
The Larimer County 4-H Carnival will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020. The club voted on the themes for auction baskets at the carnival. And the themes are outdoor/hunting/fishing and dogs.
There were demonstrations about the Passports to Foreign Cookery project and the difference between largemouth and smallmouth bass.
The club completed a service project, wrapping presents for the Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County’s Christmas party, and then ate Christmas cookies.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the McKee Building.
