Is your family struggling with the decision to join 4-H this year due to concerns about paying fees?
Many years ago, the Larimer County 4-H Foundation received a grant to help youth in Larimer County 4-H who wanted to participate in 4-H, but struggled with fees. The grant stipulated that any youth who WANTED to participate in 4-H should be ABLE to do so, and finances should never be a deterrent.
There is a financial form that needs to be completed—it is a standard reduced/lunch form. This is simply for our recordkeeping. If your family needs assistance, please fill out the form and send it to Pam Heeney’s attention at the Extension Office. The Foundation does not want youth to be unable to participate due to finances. You know your family’s situation better than anyone, and we as a Foundation would never question it.
