The High Country Handiworkers voted at the July meeting to volunteer as individual members and families to support the JLC.
It’s almost fair time and our Junior Leadership Council (JLC) is gearing up to have the Dairy Bar concession stand open for business again!
The JLC asks any interested 4-H members ages 8 and older to sign up and help with the Dairy Bar during the Larimer County Fair!
Responsibilities would include helping our JLC members in the kitchen as they take orders. Working in the Dairy Bar can count for community service. Helping out comes with a free ice cream at the end of your shift! All 4-H members under the age of 12 who would like to help in the Dairy Bar must be accompanied by an adult.
All proceeds gathered by the Dairy Bar go directly back to Larimer County 4-H, with the JLC using the money to support endeavors such as the Project scholarship offered to all 4-H members looking for the funds to pursue a 4-H project of interest.
