The High Country Handiworkers 4-H Club met on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the McKee Building at The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. The meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m.
Leader reports included Beekeeping, Photography, Foods, Scrapbooking, and Visual Arts. We also discussed checking the master calendar for project workshop dates and the importance of reading the Clover Connection and the club website.
Old business was discussed including enrollment deadlines and dates to add or drop a project.
Members picked up their carnival tickets to sell for the upcoming 4-H Carnival on March 4th.
New business included the upcoming MQA Training, designing club t-shirts for this year, Larimer County Fair parade themes, and King Soopers fundraising.
There were four demonstrations at the meeting which included ice cream making, paper airplane building, custom rifle building, and braiding.
We had an update about the assisted living community service opportunity in Loveland.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
