The event is on Saturday, September 7! The Nutrien Ag Day BBQ is from 1–4 p.m. and kickoff versus the UNC Bears is at 5 p.m.

Mandatory Sale Meetings for Livestock Members

The Junior Livestock Sale committee has set the dates for Mandatory Sale Meetings for all participants. Mark your calendar and plan to attend on one of the following dates at the McKee 4-H Building exhibit hall:

Tuesday, June 18 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 30 from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

You must attend one meeting to be eligible to participate in the sale at the Fair. The Sale Committee includes the Market Poultry and Market Rabbit members in these meetings.

CSU One Health Vet Science Camp / May 28–30, 2024

CSU One Health Vet Science Camp will be hosted on CSU’s main campus from May 28–30 for 4-H members ages 11–18. Registration is through 4HOnline and is extremely limited. Registration opened on April 15.

The schedule is jam-packed with educational discussions from veterinary and animal science professionals, interactive activities, and exclusive tours of CSU’s veterinary medicine facilities. Outside of the fun, educational things that are planned, members will be staying in the campus dorms and will have a night to unwind at the recreation center on campus, giving these members a feel for what it is truly like to attend CSU.  

4-H members must attend with a 4-H approved chaperone and the chaperone must also sign up to attend.

Colorado State 4-H Conference / June 17–21, 2024

Horse Open Ride Nights

Horse open ride nights in April are at 6:00 p.m. in the new 4-H, Youth, and Community Livestock Arena. The dates are April 3, April 10, and April 24.

All participants should park in the dirt parking lot on the north side of the building. We will enter through the north doors.

We will gather in the warm-up arena before the ride starts.

Directions:

From the North at Andalusian Drive, turn left on Show Ring Road, right on Service Road, and right on the road just past the outdoor arena.  All trailers and livestock trailers park in Lot RR, with overflow vehicle parking in Lot E.

When Eagles Hockey Games are scheduled in Blue Arena, no entry will be allowed from the west at Arena Circle.

Grand Opening of 4-H, Youth, and Community Arena

All 4-H families are invited to celebrate the grand opening of the 4-H, Youth, and Community Arena at The Ranch Events Complex.

After the ribbon cutting, please join us for a 4-H Community Celebration with:

  • Scavenger Bingo,
  • Button Making,
  • and more!
