4-H Carnival Reminders

The 63rd Annual 4-H Foundation Carnival is this Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in the First National Bank Building at The Ranch.

Turn in Carnival Tickets and Money

Carnival tickets and money are due back to Cindy by this Saturday. Please put your ticket stubs in numerical order, include the funds, and place both in an envelope labeled with the member’s first and last name.

You can catch up with Cindy in the next few days. She will be at the McKee Building for Air Rifle practice on Thursday from 6:00–8:00 p.m., at the First National Bank Building at the Ranch on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m., or at her place of business, Construction Supply House in Berthoud (806 North 2nd Street).

Sign Up to Work the Club Booths

Our club will be running 4 booths: Rubberband Guns, Toilet Paper Toss, Iron Man, Lollipop Pull. Members, sign up to work a shift. And parents, please plan to be at the booth with your kids to help during their shift. Click here to go to the Signups page on hch4h.org and sign up to work the booth.

Our club’s booths will be located in the North Hall at the First National Bank Building. Enter the glass doors nearest the Budweiser Event Center.

Suzanne Leypoldt will be coordinating the club booths. She will be in the vicinity to help with any questions or problems.

Bake Sale

The Exchange Club is hosting the Bake Sale and would appreciate you bringing some goodies for the sale on Saturday.

Live Auction

There will be two live auctions: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Our club baskets will be auctioned—thank you to everyone for bringing items for those! There are some great items, so parents might want to get a bidder number in the morning to be ready when the auctions begin!

Lunch

Spectra Food Service will not be open for concessions on Saturday. Plan ahead for your lunch that day.

Shooting Sports Booth

Shooting Sports is hosting a booth as well. If you’re a member of Shooting Sports, we encourage you to sign up for a shift. The SignUpGenius is available here.

Have Fun!

The carnival is so much fun…work the booths, play the games, meet up with your 4-H friends!

Please reach out via email, phone, or text if you have any questions!

Enrollment Fee Help from Foundation

Is your family struggling with the decision about whether to join 4-H this year due to concerns about paying the fees?

The Larimer County 4-H Foundation received a grant many years ago to help youth in Larimer County who wanted to participate in 4-H but struggled with the fees. The grant stipulated that any youth who wanted to participate in 4-H should be able to do so and that finances should never be a deterrent.

There is a financial form to complete. It is a standard reduced lunch form that is simply for our record keeping. If your family is in need of assistance, please fill out the form. We do not want youth to miss participating due to finances. You know your family situation better than anyone. We as a Foundation would never question it.

Please FILL OUT THE FORM. We are here and happy to help. Download the form here.
