Registration for Ice Fishing Clinic

There will be an ice fishing clinic hosted at Dowdy Reservoir in Red Feather Lakes on February 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. All participants, both youth and parents, need to register online prior to the clinic.

Relevant info is available in this document and should answer most questions.

We are limited to 15 youth with room for 30 parents/guardians, so 45 people total. We will provide necessary items but youth and parents need to be responsible for purchasing their own fishing licenses as needed. Youth under 16 fish for free in Colorado!

This should be a great time. The ice is about 12″ up there and the fishing has been good!

Dairy Goat Lease Program

We have a new opportunity within the Dairy Goat program for members who may not have the capacity to own their own animal or want more experience before entering the program. The Lease-A-Dairy-Goat program is for all ages 8–18. This is a unique opportunity that allows an individual to house and work with a dairy goat at a producer’s location and then show the animal at the Fair. This is a great way to become familiar with the program and what it takes to raise livestock. Please refer to the Lease-a-Goat requirements and responsibilities here.

If you have any additional questions I would encourage you to reach out to the Key Leaders.

January 11th from 6:00–7:30 p.m.

March 8th from 6:00–7:30 p.m.

Attending a workshop is a great opportunity to meet with the key leaders and discuss participating in the Lease-A-Dairy-Goat program or build upon your existing knowledge.
