Since we are using the Fair Entry software system for projects this year, a pink card will be attached to each project when it is checked in on August 3.
However, we recommend labeling your project with your name and the project just in case the card gets separated while at the Fair.
The Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch has implemented a clear bag policy. This is the venue for the PRCA Rodeo during the Larimer County Fair.

The Dairy Bar is the fundraiser for the Larimer County Junior Leader Club, which supports all the 4-H clubs within Larimer County through activities and
scholarships for member projects. The Dairy Bar will be open in the McKee Building during the Larimer County Fair, and also on August 3 during interview judging/project check-in.
At the July meeting, our club voted to work the Dairy Bar shifts on Saturday, August 7 from 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Each time slot allows for 6 members (ages 10+) and 2 parents.

On behalf of the Larimer County 4-H Foundation, we are offering an opportunity to have Livestock Record Books evaluated by a group of livestock leaders. As in the past, the books will be scored and awards will be given. In this unique time, the Foundation felt it was important to continue with the submission of Livestock Record Books. This is an opportunity for all livestock species (Cat, Dog, Alpaca/Llama, Rabbit, Horse, Sheep, Goat, Poultry, Swine, and Beef). THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. If record books are submitted the Foundation will contact your club leaders to let them know that a book has been submitted.
Due to concerns of COVID, the books should be dropped off at one of four business locations around the county. The drop-off bins are in place now and record books can be dropped off anytime between now and September 23. The bins are clearly marked “Livestock Record Books.”

Livestock and animal record books will NOT be collected this year. This decision was made due to the limits on face-to-face contact and our extension office not being staffed in-person.
Congrats to all who completed their record books and worked so hard! We’re sorry we are not able to judge them this year.
