Returning Members Enrollment Reminder

If you have not enrolled, please visit 4HOnline.com. And then either pay via check at the club meeting or online on the Join 4-H page on the Larimer County Extension website. Fees are $50 per enrollee. There are financial waivers available, so ask Cindy if you have questions.

We also need leaders to complete their enrollment!

Exchange Club Wreath Orders Due this Thursday, November 21, 2019

The Larimer County 4-H Exchange Club is taking orders for wreaths. Money raised will help fund their upcoming exchange with a county in Minnesota that is currently being planned.

***Orders must be received by the end of day on Thursday, November 21.***

All wreaths are fresh Douglas Fir decorated with ribbon and pine cone. 

  • 20” Wreath = $30
  • 30” Wreath = $40 

Wreaths will be delivered in early December. You can pay now or upon delivery with cash or check. Contact Cindy Buckardt via phone at 970-481-7993 or email at csh@frii.com.

Livestock Record Books Due

If you are enrolled in Livestock projects and have your record book finished, please bring your record book to the club picnic on Monday, September 9 to have it signed and submitted to the Extension Office.

Please have it in a 3-ring binder or folder with prongs and place your name and the livestock species on the outside. This includes Horse, Dog, and Cat as well as Poultry, Goat, Rabbit, Beef, Dairy, Alpaca/Llama, Sheep, and Swine. The record book MUST be completed in order for a member and the club to receive completion on the project.

Pick Up Your State Fair Project

All State Fair projects must be picked up at the McKee Building on Wednesday, September 4 between 7:30–10:00 a.m. If you are unable to come, please arrange for a friend, a grandparent, a leader, or someone to pick it up for you. There is not space to store projects.

Pick Up Your Project

Project pickup for all Consumer Sciences and General Projects is Wednesday, August 7 between 7:00–10:00 a.m. If you’re unable to come during that time, please find someone who can pick up for you. Any projects NOT picked up by 10:00 a.m. will be available in the McKee Building until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9. Then they will be taken to the Extension Office in Fort Collins. PLEASE make every effort to pick up on Wednesday!

If your project received Champion and you wish to send it to the Colorado State Fair, please be prepared to check it in on Wednesday morning, unless it is a food item. Food items will be submitted on Tuesday, August 13 between 7:30–10:00 a.m.

If checking in your project for state fair this Wednesday, please bring materials to properly box the item for safe travel to Pueblo.  

Please do NOT come to the McKee Building and simply gather up your project and leave. There is a check-out procedure.
