Our Cloverbuds were able to meet in person this month! They learned about 4-H, got to know each other, and talked about what they want to learn this year.
These HCH Cloverbuds took part in the Cloverbud Workshop about Food and Nutrition last night. They made bird feeders and talked about the type of seed in it and what birds might visit. They also made no-bake cookies with rolled oats, puffed millet, and sunflower seeds.
This month’s Cloverbuds meeting was about bugs. The Cloverbuds learned about entomology and that it is a 4-H project. They played bug bingo and talked about one thing they knew about each of the insects in the bug bucket. Then they had ladybugs for snack and decorated cookies.
Our club members volunteered their time on Sunday, November 3 to create custom writing pens to thank our service men and women.
