Photos from Turning Pens for the Troops

Some of our HCH club members participated in Woodcraft’s service project to turn pens for the troops on Saturday, November 6. If you have photos of your family members at the event, please send them to submit@hch4h.org and we’ll share them as well!

Thank you to Jenelle Kemper, Brianna McNeill, Karley Rivera, Raylene Cumpsten, and McKenna Anzaldua for sharing these photos!

4-H Open House 2021

We had a great turnout at the Larimer County 4-H Open House last night. We loved meeting so many new families!

Thank you to our club members and leaders who came to share information about our club, Cloverbuds, Shooting Sports, and 4-H overall.

March Cloverbuds Meeting

Our Cloverbuds were able to meet in person this month! They learned about 4-H, got to know each other, and talked about what they want to learn this year.

Cloverbud Workshop / Food & Nutrition

These HCH Cloverbuds took part in the Cloverbud Workshop about Food and Nutrition last night. They made bird feeders and talked about the type of seed in it and what birds might visit. They also made no-bake cookies with rolled oats, puffed millet, and sunflower seeds.

Cloverbuds Learn about Entomology

This month’s Cloverbuds meeting was about bugs. The Cloverbuds learned about entomology and that it is a 4-H project. They played bug bingo and talked about one thing they knew about each of the insects in the bug bucket. Then they had ladybugs for snack and decorated cookies.
