Sign Up to Sell Carnival Tickets

Reminder: Sign up to sell carnival tickets at King Soopers on Eagle Drive this Saturday and Sunday. We have two-hour shifts from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Visit the Signups page and use the SignUpGenius to grab a time slot.

We only have 6 members signed up right now! There is no one signed up for Sunday. This is a great opportunity to sell your 25 tickets!

There is also a $100 prize for the member who sells the most in the county! Last year we had the top seller and the 5th top seller.

If you are a returning member and have not received your carnival, tickets please pick them up from Cindy.

Wrapping Presents Community Service 2018

Our club completed a community service project at the December meeting: wrapping presents for Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County. We hope the kids have an amazing, magical time at their Christmas party this weekend!

Club Announcements for December 5, 2018

December 5 – In-Person Leader Training: All leaders, new and returning, must complete either the online course or attend this workshop at 6:00 p.m. in the McKee Building. 

December 6 – Outdoor Skills Workshop at 6:30 p.m. in the McKee Building. Anyone interested in the project may attend to learn more.

December 10 – In-Person Leader Training: All leaders, new and returning, must complete either the online course or attend this workshop at 6:00 p.m. in the McKee Building. 

December 10 – Our December club meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the McKee Building exhibit hall. Officer elections will be held. And we’ll complete our community service project wrapping Christmas gifts after the meeting. There’s no need to bring anything for wrapping. We will also have a cookie exchange. Please bring two dozen to share and be able to take a few home as well. Cloverbuds are welcome to come and wrap gifts also! (The November meeting minutes are posted. Please be sure that club members have read them prior to the meeting.)

December 17 – Western Heritage Workshop at 6:30 p.m. in the McKee Building. Anyone interested in the project may attend to learn more.

January 1 – Please try to turn in your completed enrollment and fees to Cindy by this date. The enrollment fee is $50 per participant. However, fee waivers are available, if needed. All Shooting Sports participants MUST complete a Shooting Sports waiver and turn it in to Cindy with enrollment.

Turning Pens for the Troops 2018

Volunteer for this community service opportunity to create writing pens for the troops in honor of Veterans Day. No experience is necessary and High Country Handiworkers club members and Cloverbuds are welcome to participate.

Join us on Sunday, November 4. We have two slots for each time between 10:00 am.–3:40 p.m. in 20-minute increments at Woodcraft. Visit the Signups page to volunteer for a time slot!

Shoes for Community Service

The Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County is gathering gently-used shoes as a fundraiser. They are attempting to collect 2,500 pairs to raise over $1,000 to purchase shoe gift cards for the kids for next school year.

Please bring any shoes you’d like to donate to Monday’s meeting.

Selling Tickets at CSU Ag Day this Saturday

This Saturday, September 22nd is an opportunity to sell more of the truck raffle tickets at CSU’s Ag Day.  We have a Signup and so far there are two families signed up. We have a lot of ground to cover with all the tailgaters and can use some help, please!

The Colorado 4-H Foundation is giving us 900 tickets to sell and we want to sell ALL OF THEM!
